Having gone through severe depression himself and publicly showcasing the stages of grief after his mother passed online. This organically built an online community of thousands of followers from all walks of life who were experiencing similar things. Hussain’s channels have a diversity of followers ranging from presidents, princesses, professors and prisoners.

Hussain truly believes it was the time spent in refugee camps across Europe, a period within Botswana re-building villages and annual trips to Pakistan to construct wells that helped him develop and his universal tongue and language of writing which appeals to the masses.

Guinness World Record: World’s Largest Mental Health Lesson

Hussain Manawer has set a new Guinness world record for the world’s largest mental health lesson. Backed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, he organised the event in conjunction with Dame Til Wykes, Professor of Clinical Psychology and Rehabilitation at King’s College London at the infamous East London venue Hackney Empire.

Kings College London’s Youngest Honorary Fellow

Presented by President & Principal Professor Edward Byrne AC at the Barbican Centre, Hussain joined the faculty of social science and public policy students as he accepted the highly distinguished award.

He joins the exceptional list of King’s Fellows which includes Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Lord Attenborough, Lord Hall of Birkenhead and comedian Jo Brand.

Poet Hussain Manawer (28) received a Doctorate of Arts from one of UK’s leading modern universities Oxford Brookes University last week Friday in Oxford. Presented by the university’s Board of Governors, Hussain joined the faculty of English languages PHD students as he accepted the highly distinguished award.
